Teaching professional conversationalists how to speak with objects

In 2014 I spent a week in residence at Krista Tippett Public Productions, home of the radio show On Being and the Civil Conversations Project. They had recently moved into a new office space, a former car dealership in Minneapolis's Loring Park neighborhood.

I led a workshop where I invited the staff to share objects that symbolized how they thought and felt about their work together. As a parting gift, I used these objects to create the pocket exhibition On Being, Objectified for the office "living room."
